Introducing Heritage 261 with Seakeeper Ride

The Heritage 261, also known as our "Sandbar Boat", has so many features that make a day on the water more comfortable than ever thought of. The Heritage 261 has a few highlight standard features, starting with the thru-hull windlass anchor, this makes dropping your anchor at the sandbar a breeze. The spacious bow layout and actuated table are great for lounging and having an afternoon snack. The console itself comes with an electric porcelain toilet and plenty of storage to stow away other necessities you might need throughout the day.

Moving towards the back of the 261 is where you will find what makes this boat an essential for the weekend sandbar goers. Beginning at the 360 degree rotating captains chairs. Both seats move individually to create a sandbar centric view point from one or both chairs. This pairs great with our ski tow bar allowing you to have a spotter chair.

The stern also features a rear bench seat that can allow you to have plenty of room for the whole family. These rear bench seats also have the ability to open up for a starboard and port side transom walkthrough, or rear facing sandbar seats. Under the bench seat also features twin aquarium livewells and an all access hatch to the bilge. Continuing aft, there are dual boarding ladders that lead up to the, standard, rear anchor locker and a sandbar cooler, that can be accessed from outside of the boat. Additionally, the ski tow bar allows for fun, even while the boat is running, Overall, this boat is perfect for the family who enjoys a long day on the water.

The Heritage 261 is going to see the option for the new Yamaha 450 and Yamaha 200, both that will have your Heritage 261 getting you to where you need to be, quickly and efficiently. The Heritage 261 also comes standard with the new Seakeeper Ride system. These high tech electric trim tabs work together with our hulls to create a ride unlike any other. The Ride system reacts within seconds to change the tabs to reduce the chop and create a smooth ride. The addition of the Seakeeper Ride system makes for the perfect family boat that will keep you and the whole crew comfortable.

Advancing further, the Heritage 261 introduces the innovative Garmin GT15M Chirp Stainless Steel Thru-Hull Transducer, marking a significant stride in its capabilities. With a sleek flush design, this Garmin transducer not only minimizes drag but also maximizes sonar performance. Boasting chirp technology, it reaches depths of up to 1,200 feet. Additionally, the XHD3 open array stands as a new option from Garmin, furnishing advanced attributes such as target separation control through beam sharpening and heightened target detection proficiency. When combined with our array of other features, the Sportlink System we offer becomes unparalleled.

Additional updates for this upcoming model year encompass the incorporation of a freshwater washdown outlet within the anchor locker. This conveniently accessible feature facilitates the availability of freshwater at the bow, enhancing overall convenience. Furthermore, the introduction of the Mastervolt Chargemaster Plus battery charger offers a streamlined solution, obviating the necessity for extra battery chargers.
