  • Palm Beach Show remains a top stop in the boat show circuit, delivering strong traffic and solid leads despite weather setbacks.
  • The All-New Open 232 stood out as a leader of its class with features including a fully enclosed console, D-Tubing and an oversized hardtop along with built in Seakeeper Ride.
  • Valhalla Boat Sales South performed well with a strategic booth location and staff flown in from New Jersey, generating steady traffic, strong feedback and sales.

The palm Beach Show is every boat industry professional’s favorite show. It’s all the good of FLIBS & MIBS sized down in a beautiful on waterfront venue off historic Flagler Ave. It also caps off the Boat show season for many of us so it’s a bittersweet farewell to our show travels for the remainder of the model year.

Despite bad weather and losing Friday and Saturday to rain, the Palm Beach show still provided a strong showing. Valhalla Boat Sales South had a nice line up of Sportsman on Display including an Open 322, Open 282TE, Masters 247OE and the All-New Open 232. The Vahalla team came prepared and flew in their staff from their New Jersey location to help man the booth. The booth was in a great location right by the northern entrance, giving us an opportunity to talk to people as they entered and exited the show. The result was a constant influx of traffic and some great show feedback. Opening day and closing day provided us with picturesque weather, a nice breeze and the perfect opportunity to showcase the models on display.

We closed the show out with strong sales, excellent customer feedback and a ton of leads to follow up on. The Boats that seemed to draw the most attention were the Open 232 and Open 282T, each had steady traffic on them throughout the show. The All-New Open 232 which follows the new Sportsman Design Language with fully a fully enclosed console, D-Tubing, oversized hardtop and built in Seakeeper Ride sets the bar for 23-24ft Center Consoles and the feedback from customers as well as sales numbers solidified its place as the “leader of its class”.
