Summerville, SC Last month, Sportsman Boats had the privilege of having Clifton A. Pemble, the President and CEO of Garmin, give a talk at our annual dealer meeting in Charleston, SC. Our dealers and staff had the opportunity to listen first hand on how Garmin continues to remain a leader in marine electronics manufacturing. We are so pleased to have Garmin as one of our key strategic partners.
Recently, Garmin was named Manufacturer of the Year for the fourth consecutive year by the members of NMEA. To continue in their accolades, Garmin was also awarded the NMEA Technology Award for its Panoptix LiveScope live sonar and 4 Product of Excellence Awards with wins in the following categories: multifunction display (MFD), autopilot, multimedia entertainment and mobile application utility. These honors were announced at the 2018 NMEA Convention and Expo held in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Sept. 25-28.
