Atlantic Marine made a strong presence at both the Orlando and Daytona boat shows, featuring a wide lineup of Sportsman boats across multiple series. The shows generated high engagement, several deals, and proved successful for both Atlantic and the Sportsman brand.
Atlantic Marine Showcases at Orlando and Daytona Boat Shows
I had the opportunity to work alongside our newest dealer, Atlantic Marine, at two back-to-back boat shows. This was the first time in two years we’ve had a presence at both shows, marking our largest display to date. Atlantic came out swinging, featuring eleven Sportsman boats at the Orlando Show (ranging from 21-32 ft) and nine at the Daytona Show (ranging from 21-28 ft). Their booth was beautifully set up, and everything looked both professional and world-class.
Orlando Boat Show: A Grand Introduction
Orlando was the first of the two shows, and we were all eagerly anticipating it. As a new dealer, Atlantic wanted to make sure they set the bar high, and they went all out with their display. The lineup included the Open 322, Open 282, Open 252, Open 232, Open 212, Heritage 261, Heritage 231, Masters 267OE, Masters 267, Masters 247OE, and Masters 227.
This was the debut show for the newly designed Open 212 and Masters 227, and they drew a crowd. The updated design on these models rounds out the entire lineup, helping them stand out in a competitive market.
Although foot traffic was on the lighter side, the people we spoke to were engaged, and spirits were high. They were doing their research, looking into future boat purchases. Atlantic left the show with several deals made and a few more closing shortly after. The reception toward the brand and customer engagement was strong, and we’re thrilled with how it all played out.
Daytona Boat Show: Surpassing Expectations
Daytona followed Orlando, and historically, this show hasn’t been known for drawing large crowds. But this year felt different — the traffic was steady, perhaps even better than I remember from previous years. The booth at this show was slightly smaller than Orlando’s, but the lineup was nearly identical. Atlantic featured nine boats: Open 282, Open 252, Open 232, Open 212, Heritage 261, Heritage 231, Masters 267OE, Masters 267, Masters 247OE, and Masters 227.
What made Daytona unique this year was its location. The booth’s central placement allowed us to see more of the show traffic. We also noticed that those who stopped by were more interested in doing business than simply browsing. The team at Atlantic made the most of it, and a number of return visits and leads resulted in product delivery shortly after the show. Feedback on the Sportsman brand and Atlantic Marine’s dealership was overwhelmingly positive.
Deals were finalized right at the show and continued to close in the days that followed. In short, Daytona exceeded expectations.
Looking Ahead
For Sportsman, it’s great to be back at these shows alongside one of the best dealers on the East Coast. Our brand continues to hold its place among the best in the market, thanks to constant innovation and our dedication to staying ahead in the industry.
