Entry Description
We're anchored in 3 feet of water off a large sand bar called Gilliam Bay. The water color is famous for a special type of plankton. We float, clean her bottom and just wallow the day away!
Favorite Feature
Our Open 252 is perfect for Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas. No windscreen is 'Bahamian" AC in the summer, we put on the glass in the winter. The 2nd station is awesome for spotting bonefish in the flats. (my wife caught 3 over 5lb this past month) and the ride from 'up top' is truly amazing. We fish offshore and shallow with our 252. We also enjoy island hopping and wallowing off empty beaches like the picture attached. We use all the big boat features including the windlass and rear door nearly every trip. Sadly we aren't interested in trading up. I'm a buy and hold guy when I find a good thing!
