Bought my new 227 in June 2020. I broke in the motor in as fast as possible (within a few days), and then left Jacksonville Beach FL to spend a week in Islamorada. This is a picture of me trolling for Mahi about 10-15 miles offshore. Love this boat, and especially the fact that I can go offshore or inshore fishing with it.

Literally everything... I’ve fished my entire life and been on 100’s of different boats. My 227 is 100% best in class when it comes to being the perfect medium of fishability, comfort, and wow factor. I’ve not only become a Sportsman advocate, I’ve changed the minds of many others who have came fishing in my boat as well. I’ve had this rig in 1.5’ fishing the shallows, and up to 60 miles offshore bottom fishing out of Jacksonville Beach, FL. All in all this is a great boat and I’m now a Sportsman boat owner for life.
