Entry Description
Beautiful morning about to venture out and Rockfish
Favorite Feature
I grew up in a fishing town in Massachusetts and was raised by a family of offshore lobster fisherman then moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and have been here for 30+ years. I love the water and glad i am surrounded by water of the Chesapeake bay and the Atlantic ocean so i have the best of both worlds. I have owned 33 boats in my life since i was 12 years old and know good made boats from bad made boats. I bought my first Sportsman 232 open in 2010 and had until 2021. Then I bought a new 252 in 2022 which was a left over 2021 and absolutely love these boats. The quality and performance of the the hull is amazing. These boats ride well and are a dry ride. The hardware is of good quality and I have put both of my Sportsman's to the test both in the bay and in the ocean. I do charters with my boat and it holds up to day to day fishing just fine. At our local boat show I am always an advocate for these boats and have given advice to people looking for a boat with good quality and craftsmanship. I have called the factory a couple of times and had great customer service with them also. I believe the Sportsman Team provides good quality boats and customer service. Here is a couple of photos of my 252 open
