[VIDEO] Loading The Fishboxes | Open 402 Offshore Fishing
We took the all-new Sportsman Open 402 offshore for a full day of mahi fishing and bottom fishing, and the 295-quart insulated in-deck fish boxes got put to work. Mahi on the troll, bottom fish coming over the rail and plenty of fish hitting the deck made for the kind of day every offshore crew is chasing. The Open 402 gives you the space to fish hard, the storage to keep the catch packed away and the layout to keep the cockpit moving when the bite turns on. With twin oversized fish boxes built into the deck, there was room to load them down without sacrificing valuable cockpit space. Bent rods, full boxes and a serious day offshore. This is what the Open 402 was built for.
