Robinson Island Raft Up SBO Gulf Coast Event

Sportsman Boat Owners, get ready to have fun and create memories with an unforgettable gathering at Robinson Island in Alabama. Following the phenomenal success of last weekend's event in Tampa Bay, Florida, we're thrilled to announce the upcoming Sportsman Boat Owners' raft up at Robinson Island. Prepare for an amazing raft up with Sportsman Boats and Legendary Marine on the 19th of August. 

Before we get into the details of the upcoming Robinson Island raft up, I wanted to take a moment to share the incredible experience we had in Tampa Bay. The event was a resounding success, with Sportsman Boat owners from all corners of Florida and beyond converging to celebrate their shared passion for boating. Thunder Marine, our local Tampa Bay Sportsman dealership, hosted an incredible event.

The morning started out with a group of Sportsman Boat owners running the coast to start the morning off right. Who needs a cup of coffee when you have the salt air and sunrise on the horizon. The morning started around 10-11am when many Sportsman Boat owners began showing up to start the day creating an incredible view and representation of Sportsman Boats. The count of boats that attended was around 40, most of which were carrying friends and family, which is a great group of people who have a shared passion for the lifestyle and Sportsman Boats.

Throughout the day, thunder hosted a great cookout with food, drinks, and snacks for all attendees. With the Flags flying high and the weather warm, customers had the opportunity to dive into the water to keep cool or hop on some of the new Model Year 2024 Sportsman Boats that were in attendance. The shared sense of community among Sportsman Boat owners was unmatched, as seasoned boaters exchanged tips with newcomers and many formed long lasting connections that go beyond the water.

As the day came to an end, we had to depart and say goodbye for now. It is always amazing to see everyone chipping in to help see people off, grabbing stern anchors, ensuring a safe departure due to the current. We always love the great group that we get to call family. Both past and future Sportsman owners left this event with memories that will last a lifetime.

With Tampa Bay still fresh in our minds, it's time to set our sights on the next event - the Robinson Island raft up in Alabama. Scheduled for August 19th, this event promises to be even more spectacular, drawing Sportsman Boat owners from near and far to enjoy the coast of the Alabama.   Date: Saturday, August 19th, 2023 11am-4pm Location: Robinson Island, Alabama   Robinson Island is nestled off the coast of Orange Beach, Alabama. Robinson Island is regarded as the most popular of all Orange Beach islands neighboring bird Island. The island serves as the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Just like in Tampa Bay, we'll create an impressive flotilla of Sportsman Boats anchored side-by-side, forming an impressive display matching that of the recent SBO event. This unique experience allows us to share stories, laughter, and lasting friendships. There will be a raffle on the island for all participants that sign up at the event.
