The All New 2024 Heritage 231

Model Year 2024 has brought us three new models, one being an addition to the Heritage line of boats. The Heritage 231 truly embodies the Sportsman design language by bringing a family friendly center console with all of the creature comforts that the market needs. The Heritage 231 is a versatile vessel that can be used at the sandbar, offshore hauling in fish, or a weekend cruise. Whatever you chose to do with your boat, the Heritage 231 can deliver.

Sportsman Boats first model was the Heritage 229. Our owner, Tommy Hancock, wanted to create a boat that was versatile, beautiful, and different than anything the market had seen before. The 229 rocketed Sportsman to be a prominent and well respected builder across the marine industry. The 229 hull was redesigned this model year and is now known as the 2024 Sportsman Heritage 231 Center Console. Bringing all of the new technology to a reliable hull design that will set your boat apart from all others. Sportsman is creeping up on its 12th year in the industry, and continues to keep the Charleston charm in their boats while staying current with new technological advancements across the marine industry.

The 231 features an open bow layout with a large bow table that doubles as a sun-pad when you please. The seating around the bow is the perfect place to sit while going on a boat ride. This pairs well with the console front seat that doubles as a cooler. With all of the ample seating you can have the whole family on the boat with plenty of room for everyone. The storage in the bow alone is plenty for the whole family to stow away bags, towels, and all of the boat day essentials.

The enclosed head of the Heritage 231 holds the trolling motor battery storage area and our "boat in a box" rigging system. The enclosed head offers a great area to store valuables that need to be locked away or offers a great spot to change or get out of the sun for a quick break. The helm of the Heritage 231 provides you with an ergonomically friendly approach to the control center of the boat. Having access to your switches via digital switching and a physical switch pad allows you engage accessories needed it in that moment. The comfortable captains chairs combined with the rear edge to edge seating also gives the opportunity for more room to entertain.

The Heritage 231 also has the ability to enter into our custom "Sandbar Mode". The aft layout of this boat allows for more seating by providing a 4 person edge to edge bench. The end seats also have the ability to face aft to give you a fully open view of the sandbar. When the seats are removed you can have full walkthrough access to exit the vessel, perfect for letting the kids jump off the boat or hauling in a fish. The boat also features dual ladders to allow for twice the amount of boarding area. The sandbar cooler and stern anchor locker also allow for an ease of access while on the sandbar. The ability to reach into the cooler without having to board the boat is a game changer on those hot summer days. The ski tow pole also comes with the Heritage 231. Molded into our boat via the stringer system, you can trust that while pulling your skier, tuber, or wakeboarder you'll be able to trust your vessel.

The other creature comforts of this model include the new Premium Garmin Fusion® Audio Entertainment with DSP Sound System SportTuun®. This allows you to listen to tunes all day with the best sound quality on the market, custom to the Heritage 231.

The Heritage 231 also comes standard with the all new Seakeeper Ride. Sportsman went a step further to create the new 231 hull with pockets to keep the Seakeeper Ride system in. Integrating the Ride system into the hull has made the ride of the 231 just that much more efficient and comfortable for those on board.
