We had the great privilege of hosting the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCMEP) as the team took an in-depth look at our operations with Russ Tomlinson, President, Victor Gonzalez, Chief Marketing Officer, and JJ Ballew, Customer Service Manager.
SCMEP is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting South Carolina manufacturers. They offer a variety of innovative strategies and solutions aimed at enhancing competitiveness, performance, and profitability. This visit was an exciting opportunity for us to provide an in-depth look into the intricate and innovative world of boat building, and to share the practices that set Sportsman Boats apart in the industry.
We appreciate our partnership with SCMEP and were very happy to be able to share the way we do things here at Sportsman and hear their thoughts on our strategies in comparison to other manufacturing industries. The ability to share our knowledge of manufacturing and learn from others is what makes South Carolina one of the top manufacturing states in the country and its organizations like SCMEP who are helping our state achieve this.
