The Open 322 is not simply a larger center console. At 32 feet 2 inches in length with a 10 foot 10 inch beam, the Open 322 carries a substantial footprint that creates significantly more usable space throughout the entire boat. The wider beam provides more cockpit room for offshore fishing while also creating deeper seating, larger lounge areas and wider walkways that make moving throughout the boat feel effortless.

With a 24 inch draft and a 23 degree deadrise at the transom, the Open 322 is designed with serious offshore performance in mind. The deeper running surface allows the hull to soften impacts and maintain composure as sea conditions begin to build, while the additional hull size and displacement create a noticeably smoother and more controlled ride in larger offshore conditions.

Fuel capacity is where the offshore intentions of the Open 322 become even more obvious. With 330 gallons of fuel capacity and approximately 305 gallons usable, the Open 322 is built for serious range. That capacity allows owners to comfortably plan long offshore runs, extended fishing days and island trips without constantly managing fuel burn or limiting how far they can comfortably travel offshore.

Performance matches the size of the platform. With up to 900 horsepower available, the Open 322 is capable of reaching into the low 60 mph range depending on engine configuration while still maintaining efficient cruising speeds in the 30 mph range. Whether powered by Yamaha XTO Offshore engines or Mercury V10 Verados, the Open 322 delivers the combination of speed, offshore confidence and control expected from a boat in this class.

That capability starts with how the Open 322 is built. The Open 322 utilizes Sportsman’s SportTech® advanced fabrication process and features a vacuum infused fiberglass stringer system combined with 100 percent composite construction. With no wood in the build, the structure is designed for long-term durability while maintaining the rigidity needed for offshore performance and larger horsepower applications.

As boats continue growing in size and offshore capability, hull rigidity becomes increasingly important to both ride quality and structural consistency. The integrated fiberglass stringer system helps distribute loads throughout the hull while reducing flex and maintaining a more solid overall feel in rough offshore conditions.

At the helm, the Open 322 fully embraces Sportsman’s SportLink® integration philosophy. Garmin multifunction displays (MFDs), Garmin VHF radios, digital switching, JL Audio integration and onboard system controls are all centralized into one connected interface designed to simplify operation while maintaining a clean and modern helm layout. The larger dash space of the Open 322 allows for an especially impressive electronics setup that feels purpose-built for long offshore runs and serious navigation.

The layout of the Open 322 is where the crossover between hardcore fishing and luxury comfort becomes especially noticeable.
