I'm very happy with my purchase of a new 232 Open Platinum! I spent months studying many boat manufacturers and visited multiple boat shows before deciding on Sportsman. The quality, layout and features far exceeded many other manufacturers In the 21-23 ft. center console class. The layout of the Interior/console makes the boat feel and fish much larger than a 23 ft. boat. It's spacious and accommodates several adults comfortably. The on water performance has also been great. Highly recommend!

Bought our Open 232 a little over a year ago and couldn't be more pleased with It. We have almost 200 hours on the boat and have enjoyed using It to explore the Charleston Lowcountry and the barrier Islands we have here. I bought this specific boat because of Its balance between fishing and taking out the family for a day on the water. It's been really great for that. We have taken many family trips with everyone quite satisfied with the accommodations. I've also taken It on some hardcore fishing trips (25+ mi offshore In Gulf of Mexico) and the boat proved to be laid out well for It and was also able to easily handle the conditions we found ourselves In a couple of times (storms!). I definitely recommend!

We finally have a secure fishing vessel to go offshore to catch tuna, dolphin and kingfish. A boat where my wife feels safe and comfortable when the waves are more than 2ft. A boat that can easily cruise with three offensive linemen college football players and two other well built men. There’s plenty of storage and room to maneuver around. So far everyone has enjoyed their experience on our new boat. We can’t wait for Summer so we can fish on Saturday and enjoy Sunday-Funday.

It Is rare to see value and quality In the same sentence, however, Sportsman has managed this with their products. Sportsman boats have great fit and finished mostly found on more expensive boats. Fiberglass and upholstery work Is top notch, add their Integration of the electronics system and these boats are the perfect package coming out of the factory. We've had our 282 for a year and It's been about fun and family time... so for an encore we ordered a 302!!
