This is my second Sportsman. First was the 2013 Masters 207. The ride, construction is second to none. In the Bay or 10 miles out, the boat never disappointed. My second Sportsman is a 2019 227 Platinum. Once again this boat is all first-class. From the gelcoat to the stainless, nothing but the best. I like the fact that Sportsman standard features include what other manufacturers call options. You can’t go wrong with any Sportsman boat!

We love our Sportsman Masters 227 bay boat. I can't say enough about our Sportsman boat, the quality fit and finish of this boat is well above of some very high end boats. The ride on this boat is amazing, my wife has never liked even being on the water when conditions are rough with any of our past boats. With the Masters 227 no matter how sloppy the conditions get she never says a word about it. I will never own anything else other than a Sportsman again.

This is a dry, smooth-riding boat. I fish on the Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds in NC and this boat takes the rough water like a champ. It can also get into skinny water to catch largemouth bass. It is a great platform for catching big drum, and when the weather allows, catching nearshore Cobia.

I had a Sportsman 247 built in the Spring of 2017. I took delivery of it in May of 2017. I love the way the boat looks, feels and handles. I am very satisfied with it. I looked at several other big name manufactures an the big reason I went with Sportsman was because of the dry ride and ease of handling under power. I have fell in love with the bench seat in the rear and the accessibility to all the pumps, hoses and equipment under the rear deck. I think they did a great job with wiring too.

After reviewing many many other brands of bay boats the sportsman 227 first caught our eye with its simple yet unique layout. We also found that the layout actually seemed to give us much more room on deck than most of the 24' boats that we reviewed, this is a big deal considering that we are a family of 6. After receipt of our boat we found it to be even more capable than promised. We typically fish bays and backwater but have had no trouble with rough seas as well. Great job Sportsman!

I have been so impressed with my new 2018 Sportsman Masters 227. The boat is extremely functional, has plenty of storage space and the new design on the locker lids makes it so easy to access fishing rods. The helm seat is very comfortable and well designed with plenty of leg room. My Yamaha 250 engine has the power to handle all of the situations that I have been challenged with so far and runs so efficiently. Love the electronics and the side scan feature. This boat is awesome!

I’ve been looking at the Sportsman 227 Masters for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. So far I feel I made the right choice! The changes they made to the 2018 model was exactly my wish list of upgrades so when I seen it I knew it was the one. I’ve only had this boat a little over a month but I can tell you with the way it handles I feel like I’ve owned this boat for years because of the comfort and ease of operation. If your thinking about buying a sportsman no need to hesitate, just do it!

This boat is a fisherman's dream. The boat has all of the amenities that one would need for fishing and the electronics are awesome. Plenty of storage and the rod lockers are so convenient. Top grade upholstery that is easy to maintain. The boat performs well on the water with my 250 Yamaha engine. I highly recommend the Sportsman 227 for anyone who is looking for a boat that can be used for Bass fishing, Stripper fishing and any other freshwater fishing.

We moved out of our 1975 model Ranger bass boat to the center console Sportsman 227. I have two sons over 6 feet tall, and we did not fit in the old boat. This boat permits us to use the lakes in North Texas any day despite the high winds that are typical. We have plenty of room to move around and land multiple fish at time. We use the boat secondarily to water ski and tube. It has met all my needs. We still clean it every trip and it looks like new after a year of ownership.

I had fished a buddy's 2015 Masters 207 for a bit and when I heard of the changes made for the 2018 model, I had to place an order! So far, so good, and I know if there are any issues, I have confidence that Sportsman will make it right!

I live in south Louisiana where bay boats dominate the market. Having two young kids and fishing more of the outside mash areas I wanted a boat with more freeboard then normal. After a year of research and dragging the wife to every boat show and dealer with in a 4 hour radius. It was clear that the Sportsman Masters 227 stood out from the rest of the boats we looked at. Living in south Louisiana and having a boat since I was 12 this boat has super passed any expectations that I had.

Recently bought a new Sportsman Masters 207 and love the boat. The size is good for a couple to fish from and up to 6 people for cruising. Quality is very good and the Yamaha F150 is efficient and fast.

Sportsman boats are a good product with many available options, this is my first boat, but I have been on many other boats and have enjoyed being the owner of a Sportsman Boat, I would recommend it to other people. My dealer was friendly and knowledgeable and has been helpful when called.

The 23' Sportsman Heritage is a great boat. I primarily use it for social boating - I get out 4-6 times a week between evenings after work and weekends. There is plenty of space for seating - It's rated for 10, but stay in smooth water. It's comfortable with 4-6 with some seas. Upgraded engine has of get-up-and-go. I have a grill with a rod-holder mount and bought a removable table for the forward part. The boat has ample storage, and the console is large enough to use a port-a-potty.

I bought a 2017 Sportsman Heritage 231 Platinum in June of 2017 to replace an older skiff. After a year on the water, this boat is awesome. It handles the waters of the Crystal Coast of NC well providing a dry, stable ride. I have found it easy to dock or to pull up to a sandbar or island. I primarily use it as a family boat, but it is laid out well for fishing. All around a great boat from my experience.
