Sportsman's Open 232 design checks all the boxes for the perfect hybrid (fishing, family, etc). I checked out all of the other major brands however, if you are over 6' tall, try to get your legs between the seat and the "not quite center" steering on the competitor's boat! The Open 232 is perfect for my needs. Runs shallow enough to get around in Estero Bay (check out how shallow that is...). Takes the waves nice and dry.

This is our dream boat. We have used it every weekend since we purchased it. We have been out Red Snapper Fishing in rough 5 foot seas and loved it! The lights on the boat as well as the underwater lights make it great to see at night and to be seen. The electronics are also great. We Love Everything about this boat.

The Open 232 CC Sportsman is a well designed boat and handles the ocean well. The 250 Yamaha gets the boat up on a plane very quick with 8 adults. The premium package has all the necessary features for fishing and pleasure. The seating area is very comfortable with thick cushions and plenty of storage under each seat. The built in cooler is very large and insulated.

My wife and I recently purchased the Sportsman 212 Open with a Yamaha 150. We researched many brands at boat shows in Norfolk, Raleigh, and Virginia Beach. The boat selection was extremely large and easy for us to compare a wide variety of 21 footers. We narrowed our search and proceeded with a sea trial In 2-3 foot choppy water. The boat felt solid for its size and weight and kept us dry. The 212 has high quality features that were matched properly and priced competitively. We are thrilled.

Sportsman Boats offer the most bang for the buck. I've checked a lot of other brands and none of them compare to what you get for the money. Very few boats come standard with any electronics installed and with Sportsman you get Garmin and JL Audio products standard! The quality of everything from the Gel Coat to the upholstery in excellent! My 212 Open series is perfect for our family whether cruising or fishing. Excellent ride! Very stable. We love this boat!!!

I sold our 2 year old bay boat from another brand due to quality concerns/problems and was looking for a similarly priced boat with better quality and construction. The Sportsman 267 stood out and has not disappointed. The hatches are of better quality and seal out the elements better. There's no wood in the boat as I had seen all over our previous boat. Each pump, light, etc. has a dedicated switch and the helm is much more nicely laid out. Overall, we really love our Sportsman 267.

My search for a bay boat came with high recommendations from friends to go with a Sportsman. I wasn’t disappointed. I am very impressed how dry the Platinum 247 is in rough waters. With a shallow draft and dry chimes, I’m able to fish both backwaters and off shore. Very versatile. We are absolutely loving our new Masters 247 with the Yamaha 250 Vmax SHO motor!! This thing is a fishing machine, one minute we're in 40 feet of water bottom fishing and the next we're in 1. 5 feet of water catching Reds. We can't wait to take this boat offshore to get in 100+ feet of water looking for Grouper and Snapper. The boat handles like a dream, maneuvers as nimble as my old 18 foot boat! Even my wife got used to driving it extremely fast, after initially being intimidated by it's size.

I researched for 2 1/2 years for the perfect inshore and near shore boat for North Carolina where it came down to a Sportsman 247. It is a fantastic platform for bow and stern casting in creek, river, sound, and ocean. Trolling with a 6 rod spread works well also. We have successfully fished the skinny to the deep waters. This platform was engineered to support the aggressive angler effectively and with all the amenities my wife and family can still entertain on it in a regal manner!!!

This boat can do just about everything I want it to do. I can fish the skinny waters of the bay for trout and redfish. On a good day, I can run miles offshore and fish for snapper, grouper, etc. When the family is aboard, we take it to the beach or sandbar and relax. Plenty of speed and power with the Yamaha 300. The electronics package is great. The layout of the boat is perfect for what I do.

Wow what a great total package for a 24ft Bay boat. This model has it all it's very family friendly and a serious inshore/offshore fishing machine. Ride is exceptional from a standard hull (non step). Every time we take the boat out we receive multiple compliments.
I cant believe the amount of storage available from bow to stern, I am able to almost stand inside the console (remember this is a bay boat). I can also climb into the rear storage/bilge access incredible. love the hard-top.

Awesome boat all around, from cruising, fishing, entertaining and anything else you throw at it! I purchased the Sportsman Masters 247 Platinum and absolutely love it. Have had zero issues from sale to service from river to offshore. Looking forward to many years on this boat!
