I researched for many months on different boats and kept getting pointed at Sportsman Boats. I attended a couple boat shows and visited many different brands dealers and found sportsman offers the best bang for the buck. In my opinion they are the most “turn key” boat with all the standard options that are upgrades on many other brands. They are very well built and finished and I feel I got a boat that should’ve cost more compared to what I found on the market today. So far I’m loving it!

Our 207 Masters is the perfect boat for us. It fits in our garage, is easy to tow, is loaded with features, and rides like a dream. We’ve been off shore in the gulf and all over Tampa Bay in it and it rides incredible, even in some sloppy conditions. We had 4 other boats trying to find the “right” one and we finally have. Since we get to keep it inside, we expect to have it for a long time.

The build quality of this boat is impeccable, from the gel coat finish to the labeling and organization of the wiring inside the center console. The accessibility to the pumps and valves under the rear seat storage is a game changer for me. I had to be a contortionist to access any type of electrical or mechanical systems on my previous boat. Now for the performance aspect of this beauty (Masters 207). She rides like a boat a few feet longer and feels much heavier than she is.

The bow cuts through the chop and sends all water out and down.Wife picked boat for plush interior and amenities. Fishing was first on my mind.From Bass to Snook. This was my first new boat and my wife and I did our research for a long time. We went to look at a different brand a dealer had with less than 10 hours so practically new. We lake tested it and did not like it. Our salesman directed us to the Masters 227 and we loved it. The day we lake tested it, the weather was pretty rough but the ride was dry and handles the chop without issue. I was sold. The thought that went into the design, fit and finish is amazing as everything is accessible.

This is a great boat and a good value. I've had it inshore and 45 miles offshore in some nasty weather conditions. It offers a surprisingly dry ride and handles well. My Sportsman is a Platinum Edition 22'7" with hard T top. The seating is also excellent. While I use it for primarily for fishing it also is a good family boat and tows tubes etc. with ease. If you are looking for a new boat, you'd be foolish not to look at Sportsman before making a final decision.

I bought my 2019 Masters 227 in hopes that it would be able to handle a variety of fishing conditions, while also being able to tow the kids on the inner tube and enjoy an evening of cruising with friends and family. This boat does all that and more. It will fish as shallow as any bay boat and keep you dryer than most in transit even in tough conditions. In my opinion, there is no better blend of fishing performance and family friendly design on the market!

This is my second Sportsman. First was the 2013 Masters 207. The ride, construction is second to none. In the Bay or 10 miles out , the boat never disappointed. My second Sportsman is a 227 Platinum. Once again this boat is all first class. From the gel coat to the stainless, nothing but the best. I like the fact that Sportsman standard features include what other manufacturers call options . You can’t go wrong with any Sportsman Boat

Coming out of a 32 foot center console, I was looking for a great handling boat with good fit and finish in the 28 foot class. I found it in the 282 Sportsman. The twin 200 Yamaha are fast out of the hole, run upwards of 50MPH and I cruise at better than 3mpg. Wow, that is a huge lift from what I used to spend on fuel heading 30 plus miles offshore on a regular basis. if you are looking for an open fisherman with great features and construction that won't break the bank, take a look at the Sportsman.

My wife and I recently purchased a 282TE - and we absolutely love it! We are avid scuba divers and fishing fanatics. We looked at many brands but Sportsman had the layout that we wanted with the coffin box and 360 degree fishability all the way around the boat. I have operated many different boats in my life as a licensed captain but never one of this quality and features available. Sportsman is a quality boat at an affordable price compared to other boat brands.

This boat and manufacturer is one that I researched for over a year before I made a purchase. When the 282TE came out , I knew that was the perfect fit for me. This boat has not failed to deliver. I had had her out in all conditions and she has responded beautifully. She takes a heavy sea well. Fuel economy is very impressive. Electronics have performed as well. I love the auto-pilot and the depth finders have allowed me to find excellent bottom. Twin engines make maneuvering easy.

We traded in our Sportsman 251, so we were familiar with and enjoyed the Sportsman brand of boat before purchasing the new Sportsman 312 center console. The ride is excellent on the 312, with the boat slicing through good sized waves with ease and no pounding. The difference is dramatic, and well appreciated. The boat is well equipped and the Garmin system is largely intuitive and easy to use. The configuration, design and layout suit our needs well and are quite multi-functional as well.

We live and boat on Bogue Sound midway between Swansboro and Morehead City, NC. It isn’t unusual to have it blow up into a 2 ft chop in the late afternoon. Our old skiff would beat us up pretty bad on our way back after a day of fishing with the wet ride taking 30-35 minutes from either of our favorite areas. Our new Sportsman Tournament 234 allows us to get home in 15 smooth, dry minutes. Great ride, nice quality and an easy fishing machine. Exactly what we were looking for in a Bay boat.

Boat performs well when heading offshore on the Gulf of Mexico and very stable when deep dropping. The deck is well thought out and easy to access all pumps, electrical, and filters. Great Standard features and excellent choice for upgrades when ordering. My favorite is the company answers me direct since I have issues using local service center. Again this is great boat from a owner who has had every top tier boat from 23-31 ft previously and decided to step out of the “Ad’s Name Game!!!”

We recently purchased a 24 Sportsman 242 Open. We live in the Tampa Bay area with great access to the Gulf, Bays and rivers. We wanted a dry boat since Tampa Bay gets choppy, as well as a boat with plenty of seating and beverage holders. After owning the boat for a month and taken it out in various conditions 6 times it has delivered on all of our checklist items. The boat handles very well in choppy waters, is a very dry boat with plenty of seating for cruising with friends.
