I have been extremely Impressed with the Sportsman 212 Platinum series boat that I purchased. The comfort and style for fishing Is just right for me. I am still learning the trims and maneuvering with water; however, the boat handles very well on the Open water. There Is a lot of storage and pole holders. I am very Impressed with the feel of the captains area. The boat spoke to me when I saw It, and the price can’t be beat.

I recently purchased a brand new Sportsman 212 Open Platinum with a 150 HP Yamaha. The fit an finish on the boat Is Impeccable. Wiring Is Immaculate; I know, because I added a second Garmin Display. We had the boat In the Pamlico Sound In 4-6 ft waves and for a 21 ft boat It took the seas like a champ with trim tabs. Albeit wet, my wife could stay In her seat. I couldn't be happier with Sportsman. I will keep this boat and sell It only when I can afford a bigger one.

I’ve taken my 212 Open from Fort Lauderdale to Key Largo, In the water, and came back In 3-4 foot seas, without Issue or concern. I’m glad I got the 200 Hp engine and would suggest the same. The value Is there considering other manufacturers and the quality Is superb after owning now 10 months. I’m so planning to purchase the new 352 at some point and think I’m going to end up keeping both. No need to spend more for the same safe dry ride that stylish and efficient!

Overall great fishing platform with reasonably shallow draft. You can get Into shallow waters while also having capacity to go offshore with Its deep-V hull. Great center console!
