Every year, we at Sportsman Boats look forward to introducing a new Model Year, showcasing our latest models and their innovative features. Our commitment to continuous improvement, design excellence, and engineering ensures that we deliver world-class boats for our valued customers.

For Model Year 2025, we are excited to unveil not only new models but also several new features. At Sportsman, we pride ourselves on building feature-rich boats where many features come standard, unlike other manufacturers who consider them options.

Here's a glimpse of the exciting upgrades for our 2025 model year:

Premium Garmin Fusion Audio System with JL Audio Speakers and DSP
All Sportsman models now come equipped with the Premium Garmin Fusion System, featuring JL Audio Speakers with Digital Signal Processing (DSP). This state-of-the-art system includes the Apollo RA770 touchscreen Marine Radio, JL Audio M6 Speakers, Subs, and MVi Amps. It is standard on boats 26’ and up and available as an upgrade for boats 25’ and smaller. As always, this system is covered by our exclusive Sportlink System warranty for three years.

Shadow Grey Gelcoat Color
We are pleased to introduce the new "Shadow Grey" gelcoat color for 2025. This darker shade, compared to our current "Storm Cloud Grey," offers a striking contrast, appealing to customers looking for a color between Storm Cloud and Black. Reminiscent of our past Shark Grey color but lighter, Shadow Grey matches perfectly with all our engine and Sileather Upholstery color combinations.

USB/Phone Charger Upgrade
While seemingly a minor update, the new USB/USB-C receptacle replacing the current USB outlet on the console is a game-changer for convenience. Additionally, we've added a second wireless phone charger in the starboard side storage cubby on top of the console. Just like cupholders, you can never have too many phone chargers for those enjoyable days on the water!

Yamaha F350XSA (White Only)
For Model Year 2025, we're offering the new Yamaha F350XSA, a powerful 4.3L V6 engine, as an option. Weighing 629 lbs, it boasts the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. This engine is available on the following models:

Triple Outboards: Open 352
Twin Outboards: Open 322, Open 302
Single Outboard: Open 262, Open 252, Heritage 261, Masters 267s/247s

Seakeeper Ride
Seakeeper Ride's automated trim tabs, which counteract pitch, roll, and yaw are currently standard on all models 26’ and under. For 2025, we've extended this innovative system across our entire lineup, making us the first manufacturer to include Seakeeper Ride as a standard feature. This now includes our Open series 282, 302, 322, and 352 models.

Garmin Upgrades
We have two exciting new Garmin features for 2025. The new GPSMAP 1643xsv MFD display is now standard on our Open 282, 302, and 322 models. Additionally, we're introducing the Garmin GT17m (Chirp) 1kW thru-hull transducer, standard on the Open 282, 302, 322, and 352 models.

Storage and Table Enhancements
Our Open 352, 322, and 302 models now feature additional storage inside the console for improved functionality. The stern table, previously standard on the Open 352 and 322, will also be available as an option for the Open 302 and 282. These enhancements are based on feedback from our customers, ensuring we meet your needs and expectations.

Masters Series Upgrades
For our Masters Series (bay boats), we've upgraded the trolling motor pre-rig to include the new Garmin 70amp plug receptacle.(Pre-rig also available on our Open and Heritage models as an option up to 28’.) Additionally, we now offer the new Garmin Kraken Trolling motors as a factory option. These motors come with exciting new features, which we will discuss in an upcoming blog. We've also upgraded our standard Jack plates to Atlas Jackplates, known for their quality and compatibility with all our Masters series models.

No matter which model you choose for Model Year 2025, we've made great enhancements. From major upgrades like the Seakeeper Ride system across our lineup to convenient features like additional chargers on each console, we're dedicated to being a world-class manufacturer that you can trust and love.
